More Piston Fit Wireless Bluetooth Earphones Review: Design
By just looking at them, you can feel that they are very lightweight, at 18g weight, we can barely notice them when we wore them. Overall fit and finish is very good. All the buttons integrated into the plastic casing. Ear tips are angled inside to fit into the ears securely, 1More logo printed in each one of them. These are made of Aluminum alloy and comes with a magnet to stick them together when not in use. 1MORE Piston Fit Wireless Bluetooth Earphones come with IPX4 water resistance, which means we can use them even in light rains.
Two plastic capsules hanged on both sides of the cable, and this cable is very flexible. On the right side, we have all the necessary controls, on the left side, there is nothing but 1More logo. A micro USB port, LED indicator, and a mic placed on the right side.
Right side, we have volume control buttons. Play/Pause button can be used to skip/repeat the tracks, bubble tap for next track and triple tap for the previous track. Also, lots of other functions assigned to this button. One-click will answer double click will reject and press and hold will decline the calls, and music controls also assigned to this button. Double click on the power button will activate voice assistant; this only works when music is turned off.
Sound and Call Quality
These earphones need some burn-in time to produce good sound. 1MORE Piston Fit Wireless Bluetooth Earphones tuned by Luca Bignardi (Grammy award-winning Audio Engineer and Sound Designer). When it comes to sound quality, they have a balanced sound signature. Bass is good enough for average listeners, but these are not for bass heads. We can hear every instrument clearly and vocals, but the treble is a bit more for my liking. 10mm dynamic drivers do a good job, and one can satisfy with sound performance.
I haven’t faced any problem during calls, I can hear the voice of people who spoke with me, and they never complained about my voice either. But mic will pick lots of surrounding noises when in crowded places.
1MORE Piston Fit Wireless Bluetooth Earphones comes with Bluetooth 5.0, 1More has tuned this Bluetooth chip for faster data transfer and stable connection. The range also quite good once the device is connected; there are no connection drops.
Claimed battery backup is 8 hours, and I feel it is very less 12 Hours should have been better. I got around 7 hours; with moderate usage, we can use them for one and a half day heavy users have to charge them by the end of the day. Speaking of charging it took nearly 1 hour to charge 1MORE Piston Fit Wireless Bluetooth Earphones.
- Decnt Sound
- Great Build Quality
- No fast charging
- Less battery backup
These headphones got a lot of things right like they got the looks, they got features, they got the sound quality, and their built quality is excellent except the battery. Competitors have more battery backup in less expensive wireless headphones like, for example, Real Me Buds 2 Wireless has 12 Hours battery backup. Your search for a good pair of wireless headphones with good sound quality. If 8 hours battery backup doesn’t bother you, then definitely 1MORE Piston Fit Wireless Bluetooth Earphones worth a try. I think they are a bit overpriced but considering 1More build quality and performance, it is acceptable (If price won’t increase in the future).
